TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL AGREEMENT

Please Note: It is the law in Greece with a Drivers Licence Category B you are not allowed to rent a scooter, only a ATV.

Scooters & Motorbikes

Up to 50cc: AM

Up to 125cc: A1

Up to 400cc: A2

Over 400cc: A

Atv’s 

B License Category (Car Driving License)

Driving Licenses accepted from: EU Nations & Non EU Nations with Latin Characters.

Driving Licenses NOT accepted: Provisional, Learner & Expired Licenses.

Driver & Age

Minimum Driver’s Age for Scooters 50cc (Moped) → 18 years old and have driving experience at least 1 year !

Minimum Driver’s Age for Scooters 125cc & 150cc → 21 years old and have driving experience at least 2 years !

Minimum Driver’s Age for Scooters 300cc & 350cc → 25 years old and have driving experience at least 3 years !

ATV’S

Minimum Driver’s Age for Atv’s 450cc → 23 years old and have driving experience at least 3 years !

Minimum Driver’s Age for Atv’s 520cc → 25 years old and have driving experience at least 5 years !

Minimum Driver’s Age for Atv’s 625cc → 28 years old and have driving experience at least 5 years !

Insurance: The motorbike/Scooter/ATV is INSURED ONLY for THIRD PARTY. ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE DRIVER WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE DAMAGED PARTS THAT WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.

Maximum cover of 1.300.000,00 € for personal injuries to third parties except the driver of the rented vehicle. Maximum cover of 1.300.000,00 €  for material damages.

Insurance Coverage does not Include: Full Damage or Damage to any part of the rented vehicle.Theft & Fire protection of the rented vehicle.Theft protection of personal belongings. Death or injury to the driver of the rented vehicle. Unauthorized driver that has used the vehicle or does not possess the required driver’s license. If you operate the Motorbike/Scooter/ATVs under the influence of any drugs or alcohol whatsoever you will not be insured, if an accident occurs with the third party insurance arrangement and you are liable for all costs and damages caused. Insurance coverage is not valid for Off-Road use.

  • The tenant fully agrees that any dispute and disagreement should be settled on the Greek Court in Rhodes City.
  • The tenant is fully responsible for any traffic violations.
  • With every Motorbike/Scooter/ATV you are required to wear a helmet that RoadRunner Moto provides you. IT IS ILLEGAL TO NOT WEAR A HELMET IN GREECE According to the new law in Greece for not wearing the helmet, the driver could be fined up to 350 Euros, and loses his driver’s license for two months and the passenger also is fined up to 350 Euros.
  • Helmets that are returned damaged/lost will be charged a Fee of 50 Euro for each helmet.
  • Damaged tyres, lost keys and if you left without fuel while renting the Motorbike /Scooter or ATV you will be charged a Callout Fee of 50 Euro plus the extra cost of what is required. (Please note if there is a Smart Key System Control on the vehicle and is Lost or Stolen a fee will be charged  up to 500 Euros ).
  • PLEASE STAY WITH THE VEHICLE IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS OR YOU BREAK DOWN UNTIL A STAFF OF ROADRUNNERMOTO ARRIVES TO ASSIST YOU. You will have to inform us from the point of the accident. The Insurance Company will come and serve you as soon as possible.
  • DO NOT EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT while driving the Motorbikes/Scooter/ATVs as this can cause an accident and is dangerous. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!
  • Always lock the Motorbike/Scooter or ATV wherever you park it. If we (RoadRunnerMoto) find it unlocked we have the right to take possession of the vehicle and money will not be refunded.
  • PLEASE DO NOT PUT EXTRA AIR IN THE ATVs BIKE TYRES. They only need a little air and we (RoadRunnerMoto) check the tyres before you take the ATV. Too much air makes them DANGEROUS.
  • Please note that the colour of the rented vehicle can be different as seen on the pictures on our website when booking.
  • Motorbikes/Scooter/ATVs are only for two (2) people maximum to be seated.
  • Driving Off-Road is not permitted by our office: NO OFF ROAD – Do not drive on OFF ROADS, ON THE BEACH, SAND, MUD OR ROUGH ROCKY PLACES.Our office prohibits Off-Road driving for all vehicles. In case of towing from the specific use, there is an additional charge which you are required to pay (the legal driver of the rented vehicle). This cost amount is 200 Euros. In case we become aware of Off-Road use, we reserve the right to cancel the rental and take possession of the vehicle without a refund.
  • Customer Safety & Driving Experience:Rental terms may vary by our office. In our office, safety comes first. For this reason we only provide you with new and safe vehicles. In case you have your own vehicle corresponding to ours, it will be considered for the rental. Also, if we have judge that there is a risk for you, we may refuse the rental or offer you a safer solution.
  • You must have the skills, and the special license to properly ride /drive Motorbike / Scooter /ATV and Bicycle. If we see you do not have the skills to ride /drive a Motorbike / Scooter / ATV or Bicycle we have the right to cancel the contract for your safety and others.
  • Non refundable for your left over petrol or early returns prior to due date.Petrol must be returned the same or more amount as taken otherwise a fee of 30 Euros will apply.
  • Cancelation fee for Bookings prior to 48 hrs before the rental day is FULLY REFUNDED. We will proceed with a refund in a time range of 24 hours. No responsibility for the additional time required for the involved banks to process the refund, which may vary depending on the card holder’s issuing bank.
  • Cancellation fee for Bookings prior to 24 hrs from the rental day – 50%
  • CANCELLATION FEE APPLIES FROM THE TOTAL PRICE.
  • Cancellation fee for Bookings less than 24 hrs before the rental day is NON REFUNDABLE. 
  • MOTORBIKE/SCOOTER/ATV SHOULD NOT BE FILLED WITH OIL OR ANY OTHER FLUIDS APART FROM PETROL THIS MUST NOT BE DONE BY YOURSELF OR ANY OTHER PERSON INCLUDING PETROL SERVICE STATIONS. ROADRUNNER MOTO HAS INSPECTED THEM PRIOR TO RENTAL.
  • The Motorbike/Scooter or ATV may only be used in Rhodes Island Greece.You must not transport it on any ferry
  • You may not rent the Motorbike/Scooter/ATV to another person.
  • If returned late, a late fee will be charged at a daily rate.
  • No more than 2 people should be on the Motorbike/Scooter/ATV’S.
  • Excess luggage is not to be carried on Motorbike/Scooter/ATVs.
  • Pick up and Drop off of the vehicle must be made to the office.
  • Charges will apply for dirty vehicles on return.
  • Prior to pick up of the vehicle the client must take a video of the vehicle to capture the condition of the vehicle in the presence of the renter & must be returned in the same condition otherwise charges will apply for damages.
  • GPS Monitoring may occur on Roadrunner Moto’s vehicles for the safety of the customer.
  • All BICYCLES that are rented are not insured and are provided with locks.Please make sure you lock the BICYCLES at all times while parked. If the bike is lost/stolen a fee of 300 Euros will be charged for each BICYCLE
  • RoadRunnerMoto may retake possession of the Motorbike/Scooter/ATVs or Bicycles if you breach any provision of this agreement.
